What I Do
As an experienced Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist I have worked with children, teens, individuals, families and couples in a variety of settings. I specialize in relationships, child/adolescent counseling, family counseling, women's issues, depression and anxiety. In therapy you will find a holistic, strength based, client centered approach, where your personal skills and values are utilized to help overcome the areas in which you are currently stuck. My goal is to create a safe therapeutic environment to promote growth, healing and connection, moving you towards accomplishing your goals.
As a Marriage and Family Therapist, I work from a systems perspective, taking into account the larger systems that each of us are a part of, including relationships and interactions that shape who we are and what we do. Additionally, I work from a strength-based and client centered perspective. Meaning that I believe each person has a unique set of strengths, perspectives, and ideas that can be used to help them move past their current struggles. I see therapy as a tool, assisting people in seeing what is possible for their lives, and developing their own voice. Let me offer you unbiased support and encouragement in developing your motivation for change.
